Riye Arai-Coupe

Riye has over 15 years’ experience in property development, including nearly a decade at Mirvac where she oversaw the $1b urban renewal ‘Waterfront Newstead’ project, located in South East Queensland. As a senior leader within Mirvac, Riye delivered a value over $600m of apartments, and a diversity of public spaces. Since co-founding Bluebird, Riye has worked on iconic projects including with Destination Brisbane on the Queen’s Wharf Residences, and with leading developers such as Consolidated Properties Group.

Since 2013, Riye has also served on a range of Property Council of Australia committees, dedicating herself to the wider property industry. She is an energetic and knowledgeable property expert.
Riye is currently studying with University of Cambridge (Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies), and has completed other tertiary studies including Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction (Management), Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics), and holds the Bluebird QBCC Builder – Project Management Services Licence.
