    The ULI NSW Young Leaders Group is excited to welcome members to an intimate in person conversation with Maria Atkinson, Director, Activist, Entrepreneur, Impact Investor and Consultant to name a few of her roles. Maria is internationally recognised for her work in sustainability and catalysing change on the big issues that matter in society.

    Speaker Bio
    Maria is a Director, Activist, Entrepreneur, Impact Investor, Consultant to name a few of her roles.  Maria is internationally recognised for her work in sustainability and for her work on catalysing change on the big issues that matter in society.  Maria advises clients to help them articulate and then deliver sustainability outcomes for a project or their organisation. She has over 15 years of experience on not-for-profit, international institution and government boards and committees. She is a global operator with a deep understanding of social and environmental markets and trends. Maria is a Director of the ASX listed recycling company Bingo Industries, the LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction in Switzerland, a member of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative Property Working Group Advisory Council and a member of the NSW Government Climate Change. In 2012, she was awarded a Member of the General Division of the Order of Australia for service to the construction and real estate sector, particularly as a leader and contributor to environmentally sustainable building development in Australia.
