Build-to-Rent, or Multifamily Housing as it is known internationally, offers an opportunity for market proponents to address the substantial shortfall of residential accommodation in Australia.

However, for the longevity of the sector in the Australian context, tomorrow’s leaders should understand how to improve financial returns through development and operational optimisation in the absence of preferential tax treatment, as lobbied by industry proponents.

This event puts together a panel of experts of their respective fields to investigate the different factors that Build-to-Rent developers and investors can adjust to maximise their financial return without compromising retention rates and the corresponding sense of community.
